Four Arrested for Bombing House in Ratmalana

Sri Lankan police have arrested four members of an organized crime group in connection with a bomb attack on a house in Ratmalana. The suspects are reportedly close associates of a drug dealer identified as "Kudu Anju."

During the investigation, police seized a mobile phone belonging to the main suspect. The phone contained photographic evidence, including images taken before and after the bombing incident. This evidence was allegedly sent via WhatsApp to an individual named "Dumudu," who is reportedly hiding in Dubai, to confirm the execution of the attack.

The police stated that the suspects arrested include the two individuals who carried out the bombing, another suspect who showed the house to the bombers, and a fourth who provided accommodation. The house in Ratmalana was targeted in two separate bomb attacks that occurred in the early morning hours of August 5.

Authorities recovered the pin from the bomb used in the attack from one of the suspects. The investigation is ongoing as police seek to uncover further details about the motive and the full extent of the network involved in the incident.
