Four Dead, Two Injured in Van Vehicle Collision

A tragic accident occurred in Van, Turkey, when a pickup truck collided with a light commercial vehicle at an intersection near the district center. The crash, involving a vehicle with license plate 35 VK 709 and a pickup truck with plate 38 ADF 386, resulted in a high number of casualties.

First responders, including teams from 112 Emergency Health, the gendarmerie, police, and fire departments, were immediately dispatched to the scene following the incident. Initial reports indicate that four individuals lost their lives in the collision. Additionally, two other people sustained injuries.

The injured parties were transported by the 112 Emergency Health teams to a local hospital for treatment. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital's morgue. The severity of the accident led to the temporary closure of the road, causing a substantial traffic backup and considerable delays for motorists.
