Four More Teens Charged with Murder in Logan Assault Case

Four additional teenagers have been charged with murder following the death of a 21-year-old man in Logan, south of Brisbane. This brings the total number of individuals charged in connection with the alleged assault to eight. The victim was discovered unconscious with critical head injuries on Orchard Avenue in Bahrs Scrub on July 26.

Police were called to the area after receiving reports of an out-of-control house party on Discovery Boulevard. The man was transported to a hospital but died from his injuries on August 1. The four newly charged teenagers, three aged 18 and one 17-year-old, were arrested on Sunday in Morayfield and are scheduled to appear in court today.

Authorities have also charged other individuals in relation to the death. On Thursday, three 18-year-olds and a 19-year-old were charged with murder. Another 19-year-old faces additional charges including intimidation and robbery. A 22-year-old was charged with failing to provide information for electronically stored data. Police expressed gratitude for the community's significant cooperation throughout the investigation, particularly from residents and community leaders who encouraged people to come forward with information.
