Four-year-old Cristóbal Careaga wins first national karting race in Bolivia

Cristóbal Careaga, at just four years and 10 months old, has become the youngest ever winner in the Baby Kart category at a national karting event in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. This remarkable achievement marks a significant milestone for the young driver, who is already making history in the sport.

Careaga's talent was on full display during the second round of the Bolivian National Karting Championship season. Competing against 52 drivers from across the country, he showcased exceptional skill at the Kartódromo de la Villa Deportiva Abraham Telchi. His performance included winning two of the four heats, securing a second place in another, and a third in the remaining one, accumulating a total of 39 points.

This victory is particularly impressive given that Careaga is the youngest participant in the Baby Kart group, which is designed for children aged four to six. His win places him ahead of Tomás Careaga, who finished with 38 points, and Neythan Budia, with 34 points. This is not the first time Careaga has made headlines; last October, he became the youngest pilot in Bolivian history at three years and 11 months old. He has also competed internationally, participating in the Pan American Championship in Colombia and securing a third-place finish in the first national round in Cochabamba earlier this season.
