Miguel Terceros Extends Santos Contract Until 2029; Marcelo Tórrez Also Renews

Bolivian forward Miguel Terceros has formally committed his future to Brazilian club Santos, signing an extended contract that will keep him with the team until May 31, 2029. The club officially shared footage of 'Miguelito' signing the new agreement, confirming a renewal that had been initially announced in June.

The continuity of the Bolivian national team player was secured after weeks of negotiations, resulting in improved financial terms and his continued inclusion in the club's sporting project. Terceros's previous contract proposal was reportedly rejected due to his strong performances, particularly in recent matches where he earned a starting position.

During the current season, Terceros has appeared in 20 games for Santos, contributing one goal and three assists. His appearances include eight in the Campeonato Paulista, eight in the Brasileirao (where he scored his first top-flight goal), three in the Copa Sudamericana, and one in the Copa do Brasil. Terceros joined Santos from Proyecto Bolivia 2022 and completed his development at the São Paulo club, having signed his first professional contract in April 2022.
