Four Youths Suspected of Burglary in Kauniainen, Police Report

Police in Kauniainen, Finland, have apprehended four young individuals in connection with a home burglary. The suspected crime took place last Thursday, with authorities announcing the arrests on Wednesday.

Authorities received a report around 6:30 a.m. last Thursday indicating that unknown individuals were inside a detached house. The residents were reportedly absent at the time of the incident. Upon arrival, the responding police patrol observed that the glass on the front door of the residence was broken.

Officers encountered four males at the property; one was an adult, while the other three were minors. During their search, police found property believed to have been stolen from the house in the suspects' possession. They are now being investigated for aggravated theft.

"In addition, the criminal charge includes possession of an object suitable for causing serious injury, as one of the suspects was carrying a bladed weapon," stated Detective Inspector Tanja Taulo in the police announcement. The investigation is ongoing.
