FRCS draws the line on sovereignty

Fiji Revenue and Customs Service Chief Executive Officer Udit Singh said closer border security cooperation with Australia must not compromise Fiji’s sovereignty or its ability to make its own decisions.

Singh told the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence that the proposed expansion would require stronger systems, skilled personnel and long-term funding to manage effectively.
