FRSC Announces 2026 Recruitment Exercise to Begin July 3

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced its 2026 recruitment drive, set to commence on July 3. Qualified Nigerians are invited to apply for vacancies across three cadres: officer, marshal inspectorate, and road marshal assistant.

The application process will be conducted entirely online via the FRSC's recruitment portal and will remain open for four weeks. The corps has stressed that the application is free and incurs no cost to applicants.

Under the Officer Cadre, the FRSC seeks candidates for Superintendent Route Commanders, Route Commanders/Deputy Route Commanders, and Assistant Route Commanders. Eligibility extends to professionals such as medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, lawyers, and engineers, with general age limits between 18 and 35 years.

Applications must be submitted online within four (4) weeks with effect from Friday, 3rd July, 2026.

The Marshal Inspectorate Cadre requires NCE, ND/OND, or nursing qualifications, with an age range of 18 to 30 years. For the Road Marshal Assistant Cadre, a minimum of three credits in SSCE, including English and Mathematics, is necessary, alongside specific trade qualifications for artisans and drivers. Articulated and tow-truck drivers must be between 26 and 40 years old.

General requirements for all applicants include being a Nigerian citizen by birth, computer literacy, medical fitness, and being single. Male applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall, while female applicants need a minimum height of 1.58 meters. The corps emphasized that all certificates and qualifications must be declared and presented during the screening exercise.
