Fubon Guardians Make Roster Changes, Promote Rookie Catcher Lu Po-hua

The Fubon Guardians baseball team made significant roster adjustments on August 3 and 4. On August 3, the team sent five players down to the minor league, including pitchers Liu Yu-yen and Li Chien-hsun, infielders Yeh Tzu-ting, outfielder Shen Hao-wei, and catcher Lin Tai-an.

The following day, August 4, the Guardians recalled five players for their game against the CTBC Brothers at Intercontinental Stadium. The recalled players include pitchers Shih Tzu-lin and Lai Hung-cheng, catcher Lu Po-hua, and fielders Kao Chieh and Liu Chun-hao.

Notably, rookie catcher Lu Po-hua was registered and promoted to the first team on August 4, the same day he was added to the roster. Lu Po-hua was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 draft. In his 16 appearances in the minor league this season, he recorded 3 home runs and maintained a batting average of .346.
