Fubon Guardians pitcher Dylan File, known as "Magic," faced criticism from a disgruntled fan following his team's 12-1 defeat to the Uni-President Lions. File pitched 4.2 innings, surrendering 4 runs, and recorded his seventh loss of the season.

Following the game, File revealed on his Instagram stories that he had received aggressive private messages from a fan. The messages, written in English, included insults such as "You suck, you know?" and urged him not to be a "softie" during the team's playoff push.

File, currently in his sixth season in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL), responded to the taunts with a defiant tone. He posted screenshots of the messages, accompanied by a dismissive caption and two eyebrow-raising emojis, indicating he would not be deterred by the fan's negativity.

Despite the loss and the online harassment, File has been a workhorse for the Guardians this season. He has pitched 107.2 innings, ranking sixth in the league, and is the team's most consistent innings-eater. He is on track to surpass his career-high of 139 innings pitched from the previous year.
