Fuel prices in Lithuania on Friday: Diesel becomes more expensive

Fuel prices at Lithuanian gas stations saw a slight increase in diesel costs on Friday morning, while gasoline and LPG prices experienced minor decreases. The data reflects information submitted by 74 fuel companies managing 755 gas stations nationwide.

Diesel prices on Friday morning ranged from 1.840 Eur/l to 2.169 Eur/l. The average diesel price reached 2.034 Eur/l, marking a 0.2% increase from Thursday's average of 2.030 Eur/l. The lowest diesel price was recorded at an "Emsi" station in Lazdijai district, while the highest was observed at multiple "Viada" and "Circle K" stations, among others.

In contrast, gasoline prices averaged 1.806 Eur/l on Friday morning, a 0.66% decrease from Thursday's 1.818 Eur/l. Prices for gasoline varied between 1.659 Eur/l and 1.949 Eur/l. LPG prices also saw a slight reduction, averaging 0.763 Eur/l, down 0.13% from the previous day's 0.764 Eur/l.

The report also noted wholesale prices for gasoline at 1.67 Eur/l and diesel at 1.97 Eur/l on July 30th. Brent crude oil prices were recorded at $89.03 per barrel on the same day, down from $90.74 the previous day. The highest oil price this month was $100.69 per barrel on July 23rd.
