Funeral arrangements for Brenda Fricker announced

Funeral arrangements have been announced for the acclaimed Irish actress Brenda Fricker, who passed away on July 16th at the age of 81. A service will take place on Thursday at St Catherine’s Church in Meath Street, Dublin.

Fricker, a beloved figure in Irish cinema and theatre, was the first Irish woman to win an acting Oscar. She received the award for Best Actress in 1990 for her powerful performance in 'My Left Foot.' Her distinguished career spanned over six decades, gracing both stage and screen with her talent.
