The Gaia Music Festival (GMF) 2026 is set to immerse attendees in a musical celebration set against the backdrop of Bandung's natural beauty. Chairman Rony Triawan expressed his team's readiness to provide an experience where music resonates amidst the cool air and scenic panorama of the region.

Now in its fifth year, the festival embraces the theme 'Music For All,' positioning itself as a space for musical celebration open to everyone. Triawan articulated that this theme stems from a core belief in music's power as a universal language capable of bringing people together. "Through the theme 'Music For All,' we want to prove that music can bring together musicians, communities, and audiences from various generations and backgrounds in a warm and meaningful experience," he stated during a press conference in Jakarta on July 7, 2026.

The annual festival is scheduled to take place on August 14-15, 2026, at The Gaia Hotel Bandung in West Java. Organizers hope the event will serve as an inclusive platform for musical appreciation, transcending age, background, or musical preference. Triawan acknowledged the challenges facing the music industry but emphasized the continued societal need for entertainment and connection.

Festival curator Bagas Indyatmono, also the founder of Jazz Gunung Indonesia, detailed the curation process, which focused on balancing established artists with emerging talents. The lineup includes Gigi Jazz Project, RAN, Teddy Adhitya, Adikara, Littlefingers, Keubitbit, Love Is, and a special collaboration between Karimata and Tiara Effendy.

Beyond the main stage, GMF 2026 will feature an alternative 'Endless Stage' with a more relaxed and interactive performance by Bass G featuring Song Brothers, set against the hotel's natural landscape. A notable highlight will be Gigi Jazz Project, led by Dewa Budjana, performing GIGI's hits with specially prepared jazz arrangements, promising a fresh experience for the audience. The organizers are also prioritizing a family-friendly and disability-accessible environment, implementing initiatives for shared comfort.
