Gala reduce Osimhen asking price to €65m

Galatasaray has reportedly lowered their asking price for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to €65 million, responding to interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal. According to Turkish outlet Haberler, Al Hilal has initiated contact with the Turkish champions to discuss terms for a potential transfer.

While Galatasaray has not completely closed the door on a sale, they are demanding €65 million to consider any offer. The final decision, however, rests with Osimhen himself, as any deal would require him to agree to relocate to Saudi Arabia in addition to the clubs reaching a financial agreement. Reports suggest Al Hilal is preparing to make space in their squad for Osimhen by potentially parting ways with Karim Benzema and plans to accelerate discussions with the striker's representatives.

Should Osimhen remain with Galatasaray, he is expected to lead their campaign for a third consecutive Super Lig title. The club is currently favored by bookmakers to win the league, ahead of rivals Fenerbahce, Besiktas, and Trabzonspor. Osimhen has a strong record with Galatasaray, scoring 59 goals in 74 appearances. The competition within the league has intensified with other clubs also strengthening their attacks.
