Gașca Zurli Returns to Bucharest Stages With Seven Shows This Autumn

Gașca Zurli is bringing seven performances to Bucharest this autumn, including a new show celebrating two decades of making children smile.

The season begins on September 12 with “Bucurie în Farfurie” and continues weekly or near-weekly through October 31. The schedule also includes “Șeful Casei,” “Maya în Lumea Zurli,” “Am o căsuță mică 3.0,” “Lumea lui Mulțumesc” and “Zebra Tony.”

“Lumea lui Mulțumesc” returns to a Bucharest stage for the first time since 2018. The season’s new centerpiece, “Zurli 20,” will mark the troupe’s 20 years of activity and its connection with generations of Romanian children and parents.

The characters will be joined in turn by founder Mirela Retegan, Maya and Antonia. Retegan said the anniversary year had brought “two decades in which we grew together with the children and parents of Romania.” She said the autumn program would bring back the troupe’s best-loved shows and fill venues with laughter, energy and hugs.
