GenHalal Holds Second Mastery Class to Strengthen Halal Lifestyle Promotion in Indonesia

GenHalal has successfully conducted its second Halal Lifestyle Mastery Class in Jakarta, reinforcing its commitment to promoting a halal lifestyle across Indonesia. The event, held at the central office of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), focused on the theme "Transform Your Lifestyle into Da'wah and Your Influence into Charity."

Dian Widayanti, founder of GenHalal, expressed gratitude for the high public interest in the second batch of the class. She noted that the growing enthusiasm signals increasing public awareness and concern regarding the halal status of products. "Alhamdulillah, today we held the second GenHalal Mastery Class at the MUI Central office, and this time the interest is even greater, with more people who care and want to join GenHalal. Because here we move together to spread and educate about halal in Indonesia," Widayanti told Republika.

The program collaborated with the Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs, and Cosmetics (LPPOM) to provide in-depth knowledge on product halal certification. An interactive game, "Guess the Status," challenged participants to analyze various daily consumer products, testing their understanding of halal, syubhat (doubtful), and haram (forbidden) classifications. Beyond classroom learning, participants engaged in practical field activities, including site visits and product analyses, to hone their skills in identifying halal-compliant products in their surroundings.

Halal Content Creator Anca Syah, a speaker and co-founder of GenHalal, emphasized the importance of regenerating halal educators to broaden the reach of halal industry literacy.
