During the meeting, seven DPC chairpersons were officially appointed, including five regional heads from South Sulawesi. Andi Irwan Aras, the Chairman of Gerindra South Sulawesi, expressed optimism that the inclusion of these regional leaders, who were previously supported by Gerindra, would strengthen the party's presence in their respective areas. The newly appointed DPC chairpersons include Unru Baso for Gerindra Luwu Timur, Andi Abdullah Rahim for Gerindra Luwu Utara, Muh.
