Germany: Hybrid warfare has become an everyday occurrence

Germany is under constant attack from foreign powers employing hybrid warfare tactics, according to Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt. He stated that these external actors aim to destabilize Germany politically and socially by fostering fear.

The minister's remarks come after a drone carrying explosives was found at Leipzig/Halle Airport. Some German lawmakers have pointed fingers at Russia for the incident. The airport is a significant hub for military cargo for both the German armed forces and NATO, and also serves as a base for the Ukrainian cargo company Antonov Airlines.

Russia's embassy in Berlin has denied any involvement, labeling the airport incident a "fabricated provocation" and another instance of baseless accusations against Russia. The embassy stated that such claims are made without evidence.
