Germany's Maodo Lo Shines as Germany Defeats Croatia; Estonia Falls to Italy

Maodo Lo, the guard for Kauno Žalgiris, was a key player in Germany's victory over Croatia in a friendly tournament held in Hamburg. Lo contributed 19 points to his team's 96-87 win in the final match, making him one of the top scorers for the German squad. The German team, coached by Alex Mumbrú, secured the tournament title with this performance.

Both Germany and Croatia are heading into the second round of the FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers with identical records of five wins and one loss in Group K. Germany is set to play the Netherlands at home on August 27th and then face an undefeated Poland away on August 30th. Croatia will host Latvia on August 27th before traveling to face the Netherlands on August 30th.
