Ghent University changes student initiation rules after association breaches regulations

Ghent University is changing its rules for student initiations after the VEK student association failed to follow agreed requirements during an initiation last academic year.

The university’s decision follows a four-week suspension of VEK, the Flemish Economic Circle, at the beginning of the new academic year. The suspension was imposed by the initiation committee.
