Giorgos Mylonakis Discharged from Rehabilitation Center After Stroke

Giorgos Mylonakis has taken a significant step in his recovery, being discharged from a rehabilitation center on Sunday, June 14, 2026. He had been undergoing treatment since late May following a severe stroke he suffered on April 15.

His condition has shown steady improvement. After initial hospitalization in the intensive care unit at Evangelismos Hospital until May 11, Mylonakis was transferred to a specialized rehabilitation center in Germany. He returned to Greece on May 28 and was immediately admitted to a dedicated rehabilitation facility to continue his intensive recovery program.

Having successfully completed this crucial stage of his rehabilitation, Mylonakis will now continue to receive care at home, surrounded by his family. This discharge marks a positive milestone in his journey back to health after overcoming what is described as the greatest challenge of his life.
