Giorgos Pomaski: “My Only Wish Is for Miltiadis to Beat Miltiadis”

Miltiadis Tentoglou is preparing for the season’s major finale, but his coach, Giorgos Pomaski, believes the biggest obstacle he must overcome is himself.

The Greek champion has produced an exceptional season, recording eight competitions with jumps beyond 8.40 meters. He has surpassed 8.60 meters four times, while his 8.66-meter jump set a personal best and matched the Greek national record.

Tentoglou will turn his attention to the Diamond League final in Brussels on Friday, September 4. He will seek his second title in the competition before moving on to the Ultimate Championship.

Pomaski also described how Tentoglou handles himself during competitions. “Miltiadis is always ready for every competition. I do not need to say much during his events. Most important of all, he has the right feel and judgment of his body at every stage of the jump. It is a skill he has developed to a very high level, and it makes him stand out,” the coach said.
