Global music stars to perform in Istanbul

Istanbul is set to become a vibrant hub for music lovers as a series of international artists prepare to take the stage this month and next. The city's cultural calendar will be enlivened by performances spanning pop, hip hop, electronic music, and alternative rock.

Among the highly anticipated events, renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform in Istanbul as part of his "Romanza 30th Anniversary World Tour" at Beşiktaş Tüpraş Stadium. He will be joined on stage by Turkish pop star Kenan Doğulu and the "barefoot cellist" Jodok Cello. The concert, organized by NTRteam and AEG Presents, promises a high-quality audio-visual experience, with tickets selling out quickly and additional ones released due to demand.

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is also scheduled to perform at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, with an expected attendance of 120,000 people. The event, organized by ILS Vision, will feature pre- and post-concert parties, along with performances by various artists including Yener Çevik and Mavi.

Further adding to the city's musical offerings, hip hop artist Travis Scott will perform at Tersane Istanbul on May 31st, with DJ Faruk Sabancı opening the show. The event, organized by TemaCC, anticipates around 2,500 attendees.

Italian tenor Alessandro Safina and DJ Burak Yeter will share the stage at Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre on June 5th, accompanied by Spanish singer Cecilia Krull and Cristina Ramos, with the Cinema Symphony Orchestra also performing. Max Korzh is also slated to perform at Beşiktaş Tüpraş Stadium.
