Gold Prices Projected to Fluctuate Between Rp 2.53-2.75 Million Per Gram Next Week

Global commodity markets are bracing for continued volatility in the upcoming week, with particular attention on the price of gold. Analysts predict that gold prices will trade within a range of $3,786 to $4,344 per troy ounce on the international market. This translates to a local forecast of 2.53 million to 2.75 million Indonesian Rupiah per gram.

At the close of trading on Saturday, June 27, 2026, global gold prices stood at $4,077 per troy ounce, while the local price was recorded at 2.66 million Rupiah per gram. These figures provide a baseline for the anticipated fluctuations.

Ibrahim Assuaibi, a currency and commodity observer, outlined potential support and resistance levels. He suggested that if gold prices experience a correction, the first support level would be $3,959 per troy ounce, or 2.64 million Rupiah per gram. A further correction could push prices down to a second support level of $3,786 per troy ounce, or 2.53 million Rupiah per gram.

Conversely, if prices strengthen, the first resistance level is estimated at $4,175 per troy ounce, or 2.68 million Rupiah per gram. The second resistance level is projected at $4,344 per troy ounce, or 2.75 million Rupiah per gram. Meanwhile, crude oil prices are expected to experience a limited downturn, hovering between $65.50 and $75.10 per barrel.
