Golden Hands competition highlights skilled rubber tappers in Dong Nai

Dong Nai Rubber Corporation celebrated its skilled workforce with the Golden Hands rubber tapping competition held on July 16-17. This biennial event aims to ignite a competitive spirit among rubber industry workers, encouraging them to enhance their skills and optimize latex extraction for increased productivity and income.

The competition drew 48 participants from six production teams and two affiliated companies, including Bao Lam Rubber Joint Stock Company and Dong Nai Rubber - Kratie Joint Stock Company. These individuals were recognized as outstanding performers from local skill-improvement contests.

Competitors engaged in theoretical, tool, and practical assessments. Participants demonstrated precise tapping techniques and proficient, process-compliant operations. The atmosphere was one of intense, serious competition, reflecting the contestants' passion for their craft and their drive for excellence.

The competition has not only become a traditional festival for Dong Nai rubber workers but also a meaningful professional playground, a convergence of elite workers, 'latex extraction champions' from affiliated units. The competition is an opportunity for contestants to exchange, learn, and share experiences, improve professional skills; at the same time, it is a basis to evaluate, discover, and honor workers with excellent skills, strong in theory - proficient in practice. This is also an important motivation to promote the 'Skill Improvement - Excellent Worker' movement to develop more broadly, contributing to improving labor productivity, extraction quality, improving income for workers, and selecting outstanding individuals to represent the corporation to attend the Golden Hands rubber latex harvesting competition at the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group - VRG level.

Do Minh Tuan, General Director of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, highlighted the event's significance as a traditional gathering and a practical professional platform for elite workers, or "latex extraction champions." He stated that the competition facilitates knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and the identification of top talent. It also serves as a crucial motivator for the ongoing "Skill Improvement - Excellent Worker" movement, ultimately boosting labor productivity, extraction quality, and worker income.

Huynh Thi Cam Hong, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Rubber Union, commended the workers of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation for their significant contributions to the group's annual production targets. She noted the corporation's consistent performance as a standout entity within the group, exceeding its 2025 targets. Hong attributed these achievements to synchronized management solutions and effective operational strategies.
