Good discipline leads to good singers - Shila Amzah

Malaysian singer Shila Amzah believes that strong discipline is fundamental for developing talented and high-quality singers. The 35-year-old artist, whose full name is Nurshahila Amir Hamzah, stated that disciplined individuals are more likely to succeed in their careers.

"Discipline is very good for you," Amzah shared via Threads. "Even if there are no performances this week or next, you still need to sing and practice." She specifically encouraged younger artists, noting that with the wealth of resources available online, it is "almost impossible" for them not to achieve excellence.

Amzah stressed that consistent practice is crucial for preparing oneself to enter the competitive entertainment industry. She expressed her belief that all singers, regardless of their current training, should undergo preparation to be ready for the realities of the industry.

"I believe that even though we are not trainers, all singers should be trained to be ready to enter the industry," she explained. "Because that will definitely shape you into a good artist, singer, or performer."
