Government promises faster business registration

Fiji’s government is promising faster business registration as it advances its digital transformation program.

Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica said procedures including company registration and investor permits need to be streamlined. He said Fiji should aim for the efficiency seen in countries where companies can be registered quickly.

The government links the changes to its goal of attracting more investment through simpler and faster administrative processes.
