Greece: e-EFKA and DYPA to distribute over 140 million euros in payments

The Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Security has announced a series of payments totaling over 140 million euros from the e-EFKA and DYPA social security funds. These funds will be distributed to more than 192,000 beneficiaries between Monday and Friday, August 7, 2026.

The scheduled payments cover a range of benefits, including extra-allowances for disabled individuals, one-off payments, and various forms of unemployment and employment support. A significant portion, 57.4 million euros, is allocated for the second half of 2026 bonus payments, benefiting over 91,000 recipients.

Additional disbursements include 23 million euros for unemployment and other benefits, 12 million euros for subsidized maternity leave for 17,000 mothers, and 19 million euros for subsidized employment programs. These payments aim to provide financial support across different categories of beneficiaries within the Greek social security system.
