Greece introduces smartphone voucher program to boost digital inclusion

Greece is introducing a new subsidy program to provide citizens with financial assistance for purchasing smartphones. The initiative aims to bridge the digital gap and encourage greater participation in the digital age, particularly for those facing barriers to accessing online services.

The program will offer a financial incentive to acquire smartphones with specific technical requirements, significantly lowering the cost for eligible recipients.
