Greece's e-EFKA and DYPA to Disburse Over 56 Million Euros by Mid-August

Greece's social security and employment agencies, e-EFKA and DYPA, are set to disburse over 56.7 million euros to more than 58,000 beneficiaries in the first half of August. The payments, scheduled between August 10 and 14, cover a range of benefits and programs.

Beneficiaries will receive funds for unemployment, maternity aid, and funeral expenses. Additionally, payments will be made for lump-sum benefits and subsidized employment programs. The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs detailed the breakdown, indicating that 170 recipients will get 256,000 euros for benefits from the former OAEE, including maternity and funeral aid.

Further allocations include 13.5 million euros for lump-sum payments, 21 million euros for unemployment and other benefits to 35,000 recipients, and 1.5 million euros for 2,200 mothers receiving subsidized maternity leave. Subsidized employment programs will see 19 million euros distributed to 18,000 beneficiaries, with an additional 1.5 million euros designated for 2,500 participants in public benefit programs.
