Greece secures bronze medal in artistic swimming World Cup

The Greek national artistic swimming team concluded its participation in the World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup 2026 – Stop 4, held in Pontevedra, Spain, by securing a bronze medal. The team achieved this podium finish in the Acrobatic event, the final competition of the tournament.

Competing against strong international rivals, the Greek squad earned a score of 203.9249 points for their performance. This achievement secured them the third position, adding a medal to their international record. The team's effort was recognized as a confirmation of their upward trajectory in the sport on the global stage.

The gold medal in the Acrobatic event was claimed by Canada, which scored 217.2892 points. The host nation, Spain, secured the silver medal with a total of 215.9351 points. Greece completed the medal trio, demonstrating their competitive standing among the top artistic swimming nations.

The Greek delegation in the Acrobatic event included Thaleia Dabali, Olga Imbrioti, Athina Kamarinopoulou, Ismini Maria Karavasili, Stylianos Kousouselis-Fouskis, Sofia Evangelia Malgeorgou, Vasiliki Thanou, and Danae Tsaprali. Zoe Karangelou and Georgia Myto Zaggana served as alternates.
