Greece Weather: Temperatures up to 34°C with local showers in northern and eastern mainland

Greece is set for a generally clear weather day with temperatures climbing as high as 34 degrees Celsius in some inland areas. The forecast predicts sunshine across most regions, offering a pleasant start to the day.

However, the afternoon hours may bring localized weather changes. Clouds are expected to develop over the mainland, potentially leading to scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. These are most likely to occur in central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and the mountainous zones of Thessaly and eastern Sterea.

Visibility might be reduced in some areas during the early morning hours. The wind pattern will see variable breezes of 3 to 4 Beaufort, shifting to southerly directions in the east during the midday and afternoon. In southern maritime areas, winds could reach up to 5 or 6 Beaufort.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly from previous days. Most areas will see highs between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius, with Thessaly and eastern Sterea potentially reaching the upper limit of 33 to 34 degrees Celsius.
