Greek rapper arrested with loaded pistol

A prominent Greek rapper faces legal trouble after being apprehended in Oropos for illegal firearm possession. Police officers from the Special Operational Tactical Unit (OPKE) discovered a loaded 9mm pistol inside the rapper's expensive vehicle during a routine stop.

The luxury car, reportedly valued at 200,000 euros, was parked when officers approached. According to reports, the firearm was found on the passenger side floor. Upon bringing the artist in for questioning, authorities confirmed the gun was unregistered and that he did not possess a valid permit for its ownership.

The gun I acquired a year and a half ago from a person of Afghan origin in the Omonia area for 5,000 euros and I was illegally possessing it at the time I was arrested, for the purposes of video clip shoots.

The rapper allegedly told officers that he acquired the weapon approximately 18 months prior from an individual of Afghan descent in the Omonia area for 5,000 euros. He stated that he was holding the illegally possessed firearm at the time of his arrest for purposes related to video clip shoots.

Following the arrest, a search of his residence uncovered 9mm casings. The accused reportedly explained that he had kept these as souvenirs from a shooting range. After his court appearance, the rapper was released on a 5,000 euro bail, with the condition that he must report to the police station regularly.
