Group begins weekly prayers for Tinubu’s re-election

A faith-based organization, the Victorious Prayer Network, has publicly declared its support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. The group has commenced weekly prayer sessions in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, specifically to garner support for the president's second term in office.

Every Wednesday we used to meet; today I was given direction by the Almighty God to gather Nigerian children, women, widows, orphans to pray for the nation, for our President Bola Tinubu, to come back for second tenure.

Evangelist Victoria Agori, the founder of the organization, stated that the decision to pray for Tinubu's re-election was divinely inspired. She believes that President Tinubu's achievements during his current term make it essential to pray for his return. Agori specifically mentioned the peace in the Niger Delta region and the ongoing efforts against insurgency as key reasons to support a second term for the president.

We should not be only crucifying Tinubu; we should also pray for him and the country.

During a weekly prayer meeting, Agori urged Nigerians to pray for President Tinubu and the country, emphasizing that criticism alone is insufficient. She called for national unity and prayer to strengthen the president, enabling him to bring favor to Nigeria and its citizens. The prayer meetings are planned to expand and include clerics from various denominations and faith lines.

Let Nigeria unite and come together and pray for our country, pray for the President so he can be strengthened, and God can use him to favour Nigeria and every one of us.

Elder Harrison Princewill, a member of the group, reiterated the organization's commitment to interceding for Nigeria's peace since its inception. He expressed confidence that Tinubu can achieve more and that the nation's problems will be resolved if he is allowed to complete an eight-year tenure. The group's stance is firm on supporting the president for his full term.

Tinubu can still do better; and definitely he will. The problem we are facing in this country will come to an end if they allow him to do his eight-year tenure and tha¹t is our stand.
