Group of attackers chased a young man through Susedgrad and beat him with a blunt object

Authorities in Zagreb are actively investigating a violent assault that occurred in the Susedgrad neighborhood, leaving a 25-year-old man with minor injuries.

The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday in Ulica Hrvatskih iseljenika. According to the Zagreb Police Department, a group of assailants initially engaged the victim in a verbal altercation. The young man attempted to escape the confrontation.

However, his escape attempt was short-lived. The attackers pursued him and proceeded to physically assault him, striking him with a blunt object on his head and body. Emergency medical services provided the injured man with treatment at Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital, where his injuries were assessed as minor.

Police are currently conducting a thorough criminal investigation to determine all the circumstances surrounding the attack and to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible. No arrests have been made as of the latest reports.
