A group advocating for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027 has lauded his administration's economic and governance reforms, asserting they are laying a crucial foundation for Nigeria's long-term development. The Friends of Ogiame Organisation Group (FOOG) made this call while also empowering over 200 women from the Warri Federal Constituency in Delta State.

During a conference and women empowerment program in Warri, Chief Mrs. Esther Okotie-Eboh, Director-General of FOOG, stated that the event was designed to mobilize political support for the "Renewed Hope Agenda." She emphasized the importance of continuity, stability, and national development, framing the gathering as pivotal for the nation's future.

Okotie-Eboh defended President Tinubu's administration, noting that difficult but necessary decisions, such as the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market, have been implemented to correct long-standing economic challenges. She claimed these reforms have enhanced financial system transparency, boosted investor confidence, and increased government revenue, leading to higher allocations for states.

The Director-General also credited the administration with progress in infrastructure development across road, rail, and energy sectors. Okotie-Eboh described Tinubu as an experienced leader with the courage to tackle the nation's toughest challenges, citing tax reforms that encourage compliance and revenue generation, alongside programs to cushion the economic impact on vulnerable citizens.
