Guabirá draws 1-1 with FC Universitario in Cochabamba

Guabirá snatched a valuable point from their away match against FC Universitario, securing a 1-1 draw in Cochabamba. The game, played at the Félix Capriles stadium, saw both teams create opportunities but ultimately share the spoils.

The home side, FC Universitario, took the lead in the 41st minute. A defensive error by Guabirá's backline allowed Diego Saavedra to intercept a poor pass, round the goalkeeper, and slot the ball into the net. The goal put the local team, nicknamed 'manzaneros,' ahead.

However, Guabirá's response was swift. Just two minutes later, in the 43rd minute, Luciano Ursino headed home the equalizer from a cross delivered by Rafinha. The goal brought the visiting team, from Montero, back into the game before halftime.

The second half saw a more balanced contest, with both FC Universitario and Guabirá generating chances.
