Hail, squalls and extreme heat: weather in Kazakhstan on June 29

Kazakhstan is bracing for a day of highly variable weather on June 29, as forecasts predict widespread rain, thunderstorms, and strong, gusty winds. Shymkent is also expecting short rain and thunderstorms with strong winds. The Akmola, Almaty, Konaev, Zhetysu, and Turkestan regions are particularly highlighted for potential heavy rain, hail, and squalls, with temperatures varying significantly from cool nights to extreme daytime heat, especially in mountainous and northern areas.
