Hajj 2027: Pilgrim registration to be conducted solely online in Kyrgyzstan

The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan convened an interdepartmental commission meeting to organize the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage for 2027. The meeting focused on planning upcoming tasks crucial for facilitating the journey for pilgrims.

Key discussions included the registration process for pilgrims, known as 'ajy,' selecting an airline to transport them, organizing necessary vaccinations, and preparing a unified form for all participants. These preparations aim to streamline the complex logistics involved in the Hajj pilgrimage.

A significant change for the 2027 Hajj is the introduction of new registration rules. Pilgrims will now register exclusively through a unified digital system accessible via the mobile application "Umrah-Ajylik." This digital platform is designed to be a comprehensive tool for managing the entire process.

Through the "Umrah-Ajylik" app, pilgrims will be able to join queues, have quotas distributed, make payments, and submit applications. The system also aims to handle and review pilgrim requests, ensuring a more organized and transparent process for all involved.
