The National Meteorology Center of Saudi Arabia is fully prepared to face the extreme heat expected during the Hajj season, with temperatures forecast to soar as high as 47 degrees Celsius. This critical forecast, issued by CEO Dr. Ayman Ghulam, covers the period from the beginning of Dhu al-Hijjah to the Day of Tarwiyah, predicting 'hot' to 'very hot' conditions. The situation is expected to occur starting from 1 Zulhijjah until the Day of Tarwiyah on 8 Zulhijjah.

During the peak days of Arafah and the following days until the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 42-44°C, with minimums between 26-29°C and humidity levels between 10-55%. Active surface winds, blowing from the southwest to northwest at speeds of 15-40 km/h, are anticipated, potentially carrying dust and sand, especially during daylight hours. The center also warns of possible thunderstorm development in the highlands of Taif, which could affect the holy sites.
