Hal Brands to speak at Economic Forum on Eurasia's conflicts

The upcoming XXXV Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland, will host prominent international figures, including American geopolitician Hal Brands, who will address the theme "A Century of Eurasia: 100 Years of Conflicts and Cold Wars that Shaped the Modern World."

Hal Brands, a professor at Johns Hopkins University and a respected commentator for Bloomberg Opinion, is recognized as an influential voice on international affairs. His background includes serving as a special assistant to the Secretary of Defense for strategic planning and as a principal writer for the U.S. National Defense Strategy Commission. Brands is also a member of the State Department's Policy Planning Staff and consults for various government agencies on intelligence and national security matters. The forum, expected to draw over 6,000 participants, will commence with the presentation of the 2025 SGH and Economic Forum Report. This report is described as the most comprehensive scientific analysis of the economic conditions in Poland and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The event will feature more than 500 panels, sessions, special events, and author meetings, highlighting significant interest and requiring early registration.
