Hamas accuses Israel of trying to sabotage Gaza ceasefire deal

Hamas accused Israel on Sunday of deliberately escalating its attacks on Gaza to derail a ceasefire agreement reached with mediators and the U.S. government. The group highlighted recent Israeli airstrikes that killed more than 18 Palestinians as evidence of this intent.

In a statement, Hamas described the attacks as a "deliberate escalation by the war criminal government of (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu." The group asserted that these actions aimed to obstruct understandings reached with mediators, including the U.S. administration, for the implementation of a ceasefire agreement.

Hamas condemned the attacks as repeated war and humanitarian crimes against Palestinians in Gaza. The group urged the international community to take legal action and hold Israeli leaders accountable for their actions.
