Hanoi Chairman: Put Tứ Liên and Trần Hưng Đạo Bridges into Operation in Q2 2027

Hanoi is set to significantly enhance its infrastructure with the planned completion and operationalization of the Tứ Liên and Trần Hưng Đạo bridges by the second quarter of 2027. This directive comes from Hanoi Chairman Vu Dai Thang, who conducted a site inspection to assess the progress of these critical projects.

Chairman Thang emphasized that these bridges are more than just transportation links; they are vital components in addressing the capital's infrastructural challenges. Their completion is expected to unlock new development opportunities and provide a significant impetus for growth in the areas along the Red River.

During his inspection on April 14, Thang commended the efforts of local authorities, investors, and contractors for overcoming difficulties and adhering to the project timelines. He urged for even closer coordination among all stakeholders to ensure that each task is addressed decisively and without bottlenecks. Local authorities are tasked with accelerating land clearance, handing over completed areas to contractors promptly.

Progress on land clearance for both projects has reached an impressive 95%, with the Hồng Hà ward aiming to complete all necessary handovers by May 15. While residents have raised some concerns and suggestions regarding support policies, the ward is actively compiling these for consideration by the City People's Committee to ensure fair treatment.
