Zimmerman's journey to join the team involved a brief trip to Japan to secure his work visa. After arriving in Korea on the 21st, he departed for Japan and subsequently re-entered Korea through Incheon Airport on the 22nd. Demonstrating his commitment, he traveled directly by taxi from Daejeon to the away game venue in Gwangju.

Upon arrival at the Gwangju-Kia Champions Field, Zimmerman met with his teammates and coaching staff for the initial introductions. He is reportedly ready to begin his pitching regimen, having completed his travel and visa requirements.
