Hanyang Cyber University to host '2026 HYCU BIG FESTIVAL'

Hanyang Cyber University's 23rd student council is organizing the '2026 HYCU BIG FESTIVAL,' an integrated campus event scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at the Hanyang여자 University sports field. This festival is designed to foster a stronger sense of community and enhance communication channels among undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni, moving beyond the university's primarily online learning environment.

The festival promises a diverse range of activities, including departmental promotional booths, a talent show competition, live stage performances, various event booths, and interactive programs for attendees. As a large-scale offline event bringing together both undergraduate and graduate students, it is anticipated to serve as a significant networking opportunity that leverages the unique characteristics of a cyber university, promoting unity and camaraderie.

Student council representatives expressed their enthusiasm for the event, stating, "We have prepared a meaningful occasion for undergraduate and graduate students to gather, share their experiences, and build relationships." They added, "We will create a safe and abundant event where all members can escape their daily routines and make enjoyable memories."

Pre-registration is currently open for departmental booths, competition participants, and volunteers. Applications for departmental booths are due by August 14. The deadline for competition entries, which allow family participation, and for volunteer recruitment, tasked with supporting on-site operations, maintaining order, and ensuring safety, is August 22.
