Harry Wilson beats Iwobi, Bassey to Fulham Player of the Season award

Harry Wilson has been named Fulham's Player of the Season for the 2025/26 campaign, capping an impressive individual performance for the Welsh forward. Wilson garnered 35.6% of the fan vote, comfortably securing the accolade.

The Cottagers finished 11th in the Premier League, remaining in contention for European qualification until late in the season. Despite a strong showing, a late-season slump prevented them from securing a Europa League spot.

Nigerian international Calvin Bassey, last season's award winner, finished second in the voting with 22.1% of the vote for his consistent defensive efforts. Veteran striker Raul Jimenez placed third with 13%.

Alex Iwobi, another key Nigerian player, narrowly missed the top three despite contributing four goals and three assists in 29 league appearances. Wilson's attacking output, however, proved decisive, with 11 goals and eight assists in 38 matches across the Premier League and FA Cup.

Fulham now faces a transition period with the departure of manager Marco Silva to Benfica. The club anticipates a new coach will bring fresh tactical ideas and a different football philosophy, presenting a new challenge for the squad, including Iwobi and Bassey, as they aim for European qualification next season.
