Tainan's Hulao Pier Nature Park is set to buzz with activity this summer following the completion of its comprehensive renovation. The park will host the "2026 Play in Hulao Pier" event on July 25-26 and August 1-2, offering exciting new attractions such as hydrofoil board and banana boat experiences. These additions promise to bring a fresh wave of excitement to the popular summer destination.

The event's opening on July 25 will feature a spectacular four-colored hydrofoil stunt performance by coaches from Tkc Taiwan Kitesurfing School. Attendees can also look forward to traditional performances like dragon and lion dances, drumming, and diabolo by the Tainan University Folk Arts Group, alongside unique talents from the National Cheng Kung University's vocal group and street performers. Professional coaches will guide participants in hydrofoil boarding and banana boat rides, offering a chance to experience the thrill of water sports.

Additionally, the event includes a "Hulao Pier 176 Play Together" mini-tour, connecting the park with the Waterfowl Ecological Education Center and the Daqi Village Creative Base. This tour encourages visitors to explore Guantian, with special offers available through collaborations with local accommodations, restaurants, and tourist factories, making it easier for visitors to plan a relaxing trip to Tainan.
