In the Gesi Fatih neighborhood of the Melikgazi district, excessive rainfall caused a sewage line to overflow, exacerbating the flooding. The sudden inundation caught many residents and drivers off guard. Authorities issued urgent warnings to citizens, advising them to be cautious of the sudden flood risks. The situation highlighted the city's vulnerability to extreme weather events and the strain on its infrastructure.
