Heirs Life Assurance names Pastor Jerry Eze independent non-executive director

Heirs Life Assurance has appointed Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International Ministry, as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective August 10, 2026. This strategic move by the specialist life insurance company of Heirs Insurance Group is intended to bolster its commitment to increasing financial inclusion and speeding up insurance adoption across Nigeria.

Eze, also known as the convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), one of the world's largest digital prayer platforms, brings a unique perspective. He also founded the Jerry Eze Foundation, which provides housing support and grants to vulnerable communities, including a recent N1 billion grant for young entrepreneurs.

Prior to his full-time ministry, Eze worked in development communications, including roles with a World Bank HIV/AIDS program and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
