Help Darija Jović: Belgrade teenager needs funds for life-saving cancer treatment in New York

Darija Jović, a 20-year-old from Belgrade, is courageously fighting a rare malignant tumor of the adrenal gland. Diagnosed with C74.9, she has been undergoing treatment for 18 months, facing numerous challenges including chemotherapy, surgery, stem cell transplantation, and immunotherapy.

After initial positive results, the disease unfortunately returned. Following a second round of treatment, Darija has now achieved remission. However, to minimize the risk of the cancer recurring, her medical team has recommended continued treatment at the MSK Cancer Center in New York. There, she is slated to receive a recommended vaccine therapy for neuroblastoma.

The continuation of this vital treatment requires significant financial resources. Funds are needed to cover the hospital treatment costs, as well as travel and accommodation expenses during her stay abroad. Darija and her family are seeking assistance from compassionate individuals to give her the best possible chance at recovery and a healthy childhood.
